"Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming." —Dory, the Inadvertent Explorer

It never seems to fail. Our birthday month—hers is on the 1st and mine on the 31st—manages to be one of the toughest months for us financially. That's just how it's supposed to work out, right?

If it wasn't for Nightcafe, I would've had no gift for my wife. She is blowing up on there, and even managed to get someone to gift us a month of Pro. I will say, Dall-E 3 is quite impressive.

To give you an example, the above image titled, Starving Art, was made with the simple prompt:

"Sometimes, you get what you want, sometimes you don't."

I was poking fun at how that's true for AI's results. Dall-E then takes your prompt and amplifies it:

"Visualize a vivid piece of street art, reflecting the spontaneity and rebellious spirit of graffiti. Imagine an artistic harmony of oil, gouache, and acrylic, all seeming to melt together under a spray paint overlay. Think of a polychromatic palette, full of intense, contrasting colors lending the artwork a high-contrast, ultra-detailed appearance. The level of quality and finish is comparable to the superb renderings found in classical art societies. This is not a quick sketch, rather, it is a piece of art that shows countless hours of dedication and talent, transforming an ordinary wall into an extraordinary canvas."

Like, wow! All that from nine words? Nine words that were a parody of an ad jingle poking fun at the generator itself. I know. I'm silly. AI art is fun, though. It definitely has that "gambler's fallacy" effect.

I'm trying to use it to make more money by putting it on print-on-demand merch. I'm using Spreadshirt, but I'm also trying out Gumroad. The latter also lets you sell ebooks, and in case you missed it, I'm selling my short story, S.O.I.L., on there.

In any place, I did promise an update on our pets. T-Bone died of old age. He was six, and was one of our most lovable piggies. One of the rare kinds that would let you do pretty much anything and would rumble whenever you pet him.

We also have a new guinea pig we named, Jet, who came with a rabbit and another guinea pig we named, Mila, but she was already sick when she arrived and didn't survive the week. There are pictures coming, but Jet is mostly black, and Jax, the bun-bun, is a mottled Holland Lop.

Jax seems to have gut issues which makes his poops sticky and they clump up and stick to his ever-so-soft fur. He is bonded with Jet, and I think has been quite desensitized. He is neutered and is the most chill bunny we've ever seen.

The previous owners said that he had the run of the house. He's currently sleeping right by my feet. From what we know about bunnies, we got lucky with this one. He has a stuffed llama that we gave him that he grooms now and then, which is just too adorable.

So, there's a lot going on right now. I didn't mean for this to go so long, and I'm actually leaving out quite a bit, like how I got bit again; this time by Toast. He didn't mean it, but manuka honey is healing it quite well.

I suppose I will have to continue this one tomorrow. Ciao for now.
