The pain continues.

Hello Everyone,

For those of you on Neobook, welcome to my personal blog. I'm an honest-to-a-fault type person, so fair warning and all. I also post these blogs on Medium and Author's Den.

My wife and I live on a fixed income, and I have yet to find success as an author, which is one of the main reasons I joined Neobook. We live in a tiny apartment that is subsidized and we also take care of several dozen rescued guinea pigs, and we also have a cat, a turtle, a rabbit, and a hamster.

Now, as for the above image, my wife and I were taking a late night walk looking for cigarette butts to reroll. If you read some of my previous blogs on Medium and AD, then you'd know about the rapid decline of our local area in North Seattle.

Things like what you see above are a regular occurrence, although finding random discarded things in a stroller isn't as common. It's usually shopping carts.

We are working on moving, but if you're paying attention to the economy, now is probably the worst time in history to try. We are still waiting to hear back from the advocate about getting money for college. We are still waiting to hear when the money from her deceased mother's estate is to come.

I don't even think I mentioned before that we currently have an eviction notice that will force us to go into arbitration. This place has quickly turned into a slum ran by druglords. It took us five years to get a new refrigerator.

I could go on and on about this place, but I do talk about the good things, too. For instance, our cat, Maxwell the Incognito Tuxedo, has bonded with our rabbit, Jax. He likes to rub Jax with his head and sometimes sleeps on the egg carton we use as their food tray. By their, I mean, Jax and Jett who's the guinea pig with which Jax came.
Despite how hard he boops him, I think Jax loves the attention, as he seems to just love everyone. He is quite a chill bunny.

Anyplace, I do also want to mention again that, Forces of Nature: The Chosen One is free to read for a limited time on Neobook, at least until I can afford to get a pro account to be able to monetize it. It's the first book I finished, and I have yet to sell more than one copy in five years.

Lastly, I'm still in some pain from this mysterious affliction. I plan to call the doctor to which I was referred to today and set up an appointment. The severity has reduced for the most part, but it still flares up enough, and still sometimes pegs the meter. It has also crept past my upper arm and into my elbow and forearm, and I'm now experiencing occasional numbness along the tips of my fingers.

Meanwhile, I am trying to work on the knots that I know are most likely causing this issue. With a hyper-sensitive nervous system, I can only work on them for five minutes each day, or else I am left dealing with pressure sore pain, which is dull but constant. I'm used to living with no pain, and this is really putting a damper on our plans.
