Why on earth should stories of pirate's taking women captive on the high seas be attractive to me? Why should I find novels like the Story of O the least bit interesting? Why should I find the relationship between Buffy and Spike so much more entertaining than Buffy's healthy relationship with that all-american college boy, Riley.
