I Aggressively wrote a book, for the street people.The People That have no Voice ''The Real Street Hustlas, and the old retired, Playas that want Our Youth to do well Beleave it or not.As They Like myself had no choice in ''The Life''it was Survivel. Wasnt Pretty,Most of our Friends,Dead or Serving ''LIFE' Bids. No Commercialized Grillz,Glamor,an Glitz,or Bling,an Bullets.I also wrote it for''The Hip Hop Generation'',That respects The ''True''Hustle.The Game.When one has no choice but to live by their Wits...or Perish,and the Younger set ,to let them judge for them selves if the ''The Life''..The Street,,The Violent Life is for them. This,is what I did,This is what I found.

With all this ''Talk''of Mr.Bill  Cosby,addressing ''Black Folks,' and My.Williams Book,' I set out to Test their Reality's,Not because I Agree with all  of Williams Veiws or  Mr,Cosby's,By a long shot.I Think  Black people have a hard enough time without''OPINIONS'' ..Talk is Cheap as they say...But If your a celebrity Its $$$$$$$So I set out to  see what I could do ,and Who's actually ''Listening '' if anyone,other  than  ''Just'' applauding ''old Bill.'' I was a Sad Victim of ''Brown Vs.Board of  Education,I can  Speak reams on That Subject. To the Point of  Literally  Running out of school at  15 to  keep my Sanity,after being in 8 different schools by 9th Grade ( ''due to  zoning'' )and The  Streets being, the  Perverted Peid Piper That Raised me.

Armed with that Grist, and my Artisanship  as a Poet/writer/Musician/Rapper.Something All of my Teachers must have ''overlooked''. I set ,out to  see what the Real deal Was...What  could I do?and what is Mr.Bill Cosby Is asking of  Black People,in terms of 'Us'Helping ourselves really?,''to  get involved,?So, I devoted myself to this Journey,of Truth!.By Passion,.about 80 Hours a week, I did the Most agressive thing  one could do .I wrote a book..And what I found by Aggressively writing a book,to and for street,and at Risk Young people of the 'Hip-Hop' Generation,was...other than the Gross Over simplification,non directed,non stratagised approach in  which the ''COS'' Veiws things,But Bill Cosby’s making His Rent by putting down ,The Black Lower-class and people that have to survive hand to mouth.Its That Simple,no more no less.If nothing  else for the reasons I listed herein.

To bad its not ’’A Movie’’ we could change the characters of ’’Changing places’’ and have Bill play Eddie Murphy. Seeing If he could survive in the World of the Street, no place to live, no credit cards, no maid, no body Guard, no car…NOTHIN!..I doubt it. The tired old childhood story’s of, ’’Slush balls’’ he used to tell on his ’’Records’’ in the sixties, I used to listen to,aint gonna get so much as a ‘’Chuckle’’ in 2006. After Listening to Bill Cosby’s Rap on Putting down Black People ,that are beneath him, or in a Different social Class. about how we 'treat' our ills and or attempt to solve them. I felt uncomfortable. Maybe because I’ve been in the class he speaks about. And also in the class where Living on York ave.in N.Y. Both boyfriends were Doctors one a Cardiologist and never having to worry about balancing my own checkbook,. But then I thought with all the Put downs What is being asked, of the 'everyday 'person.? Who’s going to actually Challenge him? to go out take the time and effort(which takes $$$$$$$ to start with)So I took another aggressive position I went out and Put my concerns to the test. The Issue I chose was 'Violence' we all want to help rid the 'World' and Protect our Youth....Right?.....Right!!... And old Bill’s Concerns,is a ’’everyday ’’person ’’Doing something, ...Right?...Right!!..to Change the situation of some, Of our most Debilitating ills ,Violence I Felt was at the Top of the List.

That was my Issue I was going to confront and tackle. 'I was going to make a difference‘’. So write ,I did Lost thousands not working, of course, writing an average of 15 hours a day....easy that...I Bought,and learned the expencive Graphics Programs,  to formate the Text, learned PDF files,edited it.. Learned Graphics Programs, did the Cover. Distilled it, Formatted it, Preflighed it, embedded the Graphics, The Whole Brain twisting Bit. From Top To Bottom. ‘’My Book‘’.I’m going to make a difference. I wrote short storys, gathered my street poetry that needed a home) and I Created 'Platinum Dreams Lead Reality' a non Fiction collection, short story’s ,Poetry, Vignettes, essays of Rappers and street People ,Playas and Hustles, that lost their lives through the street game. Or escaped by the skin or their teeth. I wrote it in 'hip hop Lit' meaning the ings are off a lot of words and written how street people speak.I used a 6 year Prison sentence of mine. I used stories told of Violence, I used my own Victimizations .I used things I'd seen,Been through, That Had a Profound Impact on My Life,Drugs,Rape,Violence,Police Brutality.Wrote of  how my Life was on the Line more than once.Bared my Soul, when in ''the Life''' before a Masters candidate,that I now am.

I even Put in a few Poems from my first Poetry book '''Prison Solitary and other Free Government Services'''from Prison. published in 1980 (the beginning of the great’ Crack' epidemic)It covered deaths via HIV/AIDS gunshot/stabbings Train wrecks,Drug  selling,Pimping, It has a Variety of Fatal out comes to the Characters .It encompasses black, wht. Hispanic males. And some females, I was cognizant of Balancing, the True life characters. 100 percent of the story's I know first hand. The Essay’s involved a few others opinions, ’’Playas’’ 'stick up kids and such'.But the Percentage is low about 1 percent. Since the Target Market for the book is 15 to 30 or so. I felt the so called Organizations that are 'FUNDED'.To help the Violence situation, 'YOUTH' and Youth risk, Young adults in the Criminal Justice System, Teenagers at Risk for HIV orgs. young adult's would 'Jump' at the chance to have me read the REAL life Unique story’s in school's, Colleges, Prison's etc. to keep our 'younger set off the street, the 'Burner's' out of their hand, and the Bullet's out of Our Children's Head. Who knows Violence better than Mr. Bill Cosby when His son was Murdered.

Well I hope who's ever reading this , Is sitting down now...I e-mailed over 350 organizations(interstates) and so called celebrities mixed in.(I'm in the screen actors Guild and the United Fed. Of Teachers in Nyc)..So It wasn't hard to get info. I Offered to READ FREE in the schools.(not that I could by any means afford to)And to donate part of the Proceeds from the book to start 'THUGS AGAINST VIOLENCE' where people with experience, a ('speakers org')To Give back. I self Published this book, out of Concern. Now, I'm not talking about small orgs.I'm Talking about the irreproachable Big guys we know and 'Love'like NAA*P.URB**LE**UE, A 100 BLACK this and That'. That ‘’100’’ crap annoys me now. as It’s Rather ‘’Obvious’ its going to take a Hell of a lot MORE than a ‘’100’’of anything to help better any situation ,of Societal ill‘s. I got 5 emails back. About 85 plus Flatout Ignored me(the ones mentioned) And of the 5 they were of the Nature of...well, If something comes along, in the year 3006 maybe well dig up your email and send you a line. So It’s a lot Worse than I thought...what does this mean? It means several things. Sadly none of them to do with helping young Urban Black males, or bettering our community. To put it painfully simple.

So now you Know MR.,Cosby it aint the 'People’ it’s the Orgs, Like the Covanent Houses, The Hail Houses, The Bureaucracy ,or did you know that before?…Bet you did! The People who put their Muscle where their Mouth is, and want to help, and have the 'Experience'! ‘’to help‘’, Are on the other end of a Pen,and ''In The Pen'' wondering what this means. Other than ’’Bill’’ paying his Rent by Upseting People,Saying ''You'll be Sorry If you dont listen to him'' making people feel guilty ..for what? I don’t know ,What has he been through..?We all Have  a ''Few'' bad things happen,were talking  about 3/4 of ones life living  a certain  way,with ''No  up''in sight.No Money, Kids To  feed, poor education... NO DAMN PUDDIN POPS!

 He’s choosing the WRONG group,But he's ''Ours''so  well ''Clap'' when  he speaks...sadly the lack of  Organzation,of ''People'' and the the orgs'of what sounds good or looks good will stay the same.And  Bill's got bills to. not easy Paying a’ Staff’! nobody’s Laughing at them Corny Jokes, and That’’ Pudding Pop’’ Crap’’Yeech!’’ got more Preservative’s than a Can of Spray Deodorant.gotta Hustle..in the 2years plus,hes been going around I think,Violence has gotten  worse.

 But… The street playas know what this means, More Violence, Bigger Guns in Smaller Hands. Better Drug’s at Lower Prices. It means they are able to Live, and Continue to survive, Hustle, Play ‘’,Pimp an Simp‘’…the way they do. For them Its ’’All Good,gettin better everyday! Baxterkng.aol.com
