A friend forwarded me this pretty funny and somewhat true advice - for the sistas, but brothas are welcome to read - and have a laugh. Thought I should share with you ... ...

It is the sacred duty of every man to lie to his woman/women. This is captured in the old adage that "a man who doesn't lie will not marry".

This wisdom came to me rather late in life.

1. Having wasted my youth trying to be the honest, caring, sensitive, considerate and loving man that women claim they want, I find myself rather alone. My lying, cheating friends (dogs really), are either married (to women who always maintained that they wanted an honest, caring, sensitive, considerate and loving man), engaged, or living riotously fun lives.

2. Statistically, there are more women than men. This places a duty on every man to have more than one woman in his life. If all men stuck to one woman, there would be pandemonium. Think of this therefore, as men's contribution to world peace.

3. Every woman wants a certain minimum class of man. This has the effect of eliminating a large pool of men from the sweepstakes thus putting enormous pressure on those who are eligible. You think I lie?  Well think of this. You want to date a young professional man with good prospects. So does your maid. Do you want to date your gardener? No. Neither does your maid. Let the drama begin!

4. Enter the female competitive spirit, manifested in the belief that I can get any man I want, and keep him. Never mind the fact that I look like Oprah with no make up on, I still believe that I can take JLo's man.  Ladies, be serious, please!

5. Oh, and then, this "wasting my time stuff" I gave him the best two years of my life, so he must marry me! Really! Ladies, no man will marry you because you have invested a bit of time with him, or done his laundry, or met his sisters. If you do not possess the qualities he is looking for (and assuming that he is ready  to settle down!), he will not marry you. He will sleep with you, but not marry you.

6. Leaving the wife for you? Hello!!!! Come on sistas.....not every dog needs a home to go to or better still; think of men as holding companies. The wife (with  the lovely kids, who will inherit the property) represents the core  business. You, young lady and part time lover, are merely a subsidiary. That is why the wife lives in the Dales or Hills, and you are in a rented  one bed roomed flat in the Avenues.

7. What mammals in nature are monogamous? Why should man be any different? Do you see now? If you are already or you are threatening to get married, count your blessings sistas. It's tight out there ...

Whole lotta truth. Women are nesters. Once they get a man in their nest, that's it. Men are hunters, always hunting for something new and different. I'm one of those guys who wasted my youth being nice to girls who saw no danger or nest in me. It's better now, but I know a lot of women who are hurting.

This is a brainy, witty and honest man that wrote this informative and straight-forward piece. I think he should be put up for president, or at least make a movie star out of him, there isn't much difference between the two except the president gets to push the doomsday button. Then again, they are more alike than that even. The movie star and the president have their groupies. Movie stars take them to their mansions and the president makes them kneel on the floor of the oval office. Oh, where was I? Got sidetracked. I do that a lot. Anywho, the author of this magnificent piece is a genesis. Gotta love it!

Standing On My Knees by Pinkstone

I met Jerome on a busy city street in Baltimore, Maryland, when he was forty-five years old. On that particular day, I was out and about, enjoying a much-needed day off from work. I wanted to purchase a sukiyaki sub. I parked my car in an area of
