But the Bible’s words are man’s not God’s Divine.

Loudly preachers bellow, “Men were so inspired

They scrawled down what the Wholly Other required.”

But what if, now, a true miracle brought forth

            Amazing sights that seemed unreasonable

            That e’en nature seemed out witted by itself?

Would bedazzled humans then believe in God

            Like stubborn pharaoh viewing Aaron’s rod

            Or would they put reason back upon the shelf?

Can miracle eyes relate to the laws of heat?
