A prayer I wrote for myself and want to share.

When trouble invades me from all four sides, I turn towards the Eternal Light. God grant me Your promised guidance in all spheres of life whether social or religious, all affaires of the heart and mind. Give me all that is required to be Your favored person, I promise to strive! It is never too late for anything...so grant me the power of responsibility and morality to overcome all my hindering weaknesses.
I demand Your guidance and blessings, I have enough faith in You and my religion, so help me develop and cultivate this frail seedling into a strong plant with deep rooted foundations. Grant me the strength and the raw courage to step into every new phase as I wish and as You please and work my way through effectively, the will-power and determination to finish whatever what ever I start and achieve my goals. Bless me with the patience and self control at troubled times and in all situations that I stand against!
Prevent my tongue from lashing out and my hand from striking; and let the balanced thoughts break my anger that like acid burns me from the inside and does no good. Give me a charm so that I should never be the cause of anybodys trembling lips or tearful eyes. Grant me the wisdom and tact to deal with all sorts of people and let knowledge be my untainted sword. I believe in the purity of the heart, mind and body so make my world pure.
Give me immense amounts of health, love, wealth and success...spiritual and material, in all forms. The blend of security, peace and protection to my being and to all with whom I associate.
Make me fearless and strong because You alone can harm me and protect me so I fear none other! Promise to guard me against all the evils created by You and all evils created by those whom You create; and let not your will be with those who wish harm to me and my family.
Make me regular in Your praise and fearless of the final crown of death, but before placing it on my head help me lead a life that will ensure at the Hereafter that I, your devoted slave will reap the harvest in Paradise.
Show me only a fleeting glimpse, of the true depth of misery and human folly so that I fall wavering in prostration before you and thank you for shielding me from it and seek forgiveness for any sins that I have committed consciously or unconsciously.
Show me that my belief is true and strong and that my faith shall never be betrayed. Answer my prayers positively but do not give me all that I desire because desire knows no end; just give what you know is a blessing and will not turn onto me as a curse. And for all that granted and for all that that you hold back let me be wise enough to see the reason.
Make me thankful and satisfied yet allow me ask for more...as much as I can ask for. I demand and You must give, I struggle to trace the footprints of Your Last Prophet, peace be upon him, and do as You bid by asking from You alone. You revealed to mankind to ask and I have spread out my hands before You...now give!
My Lord! I bow before You, my Creator, my Owner, my Guide... I shall turn towards You in my hour of need. There is no greed God! Before you there is no shyness, hesitation or awkwardness. I ask freely and totally unashamed and not out of greed. You can always give as much as You want, so I, Your mere creation ask for all, all the good things that You can give!
If I plead, it is because of my hour of need...so help me God!
