This came about in response to the good example of Teacher Ty.

One more week
and off I go to my Alma Mater .
One more week
and for the Alumni Homecoming
we gather.
Once again,
interact with
young,
bright,
searching minds,
I will.
Pray what, oh what ,
will
these young people
I tell?
I would tell them
about
A COMPASSIONATE GOD
WHO LOVED US FIRST.
And how, oh how,
will
this reality
I convey?
I would proceed to tell them
how
GOD
LOVED ME FIRST
THRU
PEOPLE
HE SENT MY WAY.
And when asked
WHY
these people
were moved to love me,
I would then explain that
THEY TOO
WERE LOVED
BY GOD FIRST
THRU
PEOPLE
THAT
HE
FIRST
SENT THEIR WAY.
Now,
in turn
THIS REALITY
they
can
EXPOUND
to the future
bright,
young,
searching minds
that
THEY
will meet someday !!!
Lastly, these words

I would leave them :
"So many gods, so many creeds,
so many paths that wind and wind,
while just the art of being kind
is all the sad world needs."
