THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD

After planting the usual goodbye kiss on her mother’s cheek, the10 yr.old girl set joyfully out for school.

It was October, the Mission month, and she is bringing to class the donation she raised for the needy and the missionaries.

She wanted to help the missionaries spread God’s Word far and wide. She wanted the people in need to have something extra nice.

She was glad she wrote and pasted an explanatory note on the cardboard box. Upon her request, her mother had passed it around her office mates.

The note in green ink read :
” Pls. Drop a peso to help the poor, sick, victims of New York & the people in need. You can help our mission. It’s for the good of the people in need. Thank You.”

Well, the box returned heavy with coins and bills! See what a person can do? She hoped all her classmates were also able to raise some funds.

She felt really good about the thank you note she composed for the grown-ups . Surely Jesus and Mama Mary in heaven would be very pleased too!
