I was glad I followed the bidding of The Master.

Matthew 8:19
“Master, I will follow you wherever you go.”

LEAD THE WAY , LORD!

XiaoYang could not shake off The Master’s unmistakable bidding . In her heart, she sensed that Jesus wanted her to pray with a very special couple. Earlier , Quinghua, a former schoolmate have called and after a pause , the familiar voice of Teacher Zhiang , her favorite Math teacher greeted her on the line. Teacher Zhiang was in the city because her husband ,Teacher Ty , needed a more advanced medical examination. XiaoYang’s beloved Biology mentor in high school --- Teacher Ty have cancer! Xiao Yang tried to sound cheerful when she agreed that Quinghua would pick her up so they could meet.

With the booklets of the Devotion to The Divine Mercy in hand, XiaoYang embraced Teacher Zhiang , then softly approached the resting form of Teacher Ty on the bed. XiaoYang whispered that she is now a part of the Catholic Charismatic
Community and she would like very much to pray with him and his wife. Teacher Ty graciously agreed and XiaoYang prayed fervently .The Divine Mercy booklets were also left behind for them to read.

From then on, whenever XiaoYang visits her Alma Mater, Teacher Ty would always invite her to pray with him. No, Teacher Ty’s cancer did not go away but he was able to spend many more years teaching his beloved students. He was baptized Jose Maria Ty Eng Liong before he joined The Lord on February 4, 2001.

During his wake, as she paid her last respects, XiaoYang was very grateful she heeded The Lord’s call to manifest His Loving Presence to this Very Special Teacher.

REFECTION: Still reluctant to shout God’s Loving Presence to the rooftops?
PRAYER : LEAD ON MY KING.
FOR WHEREVER YOU GO, I SHALL GO.
