Just to share with you what my idea of what a Christian should be

TO BE A CHRISTIAN

To be a Christian is to receive
Christ into your heart
and to share Him with others
by the way you live
"Let your light
shine before others"
that they may see God in you

Also, be a witness to what
you say and (write)
In poetry we reveal
our true self in
what you believe to
be the truth

If you have evil
in your heart,
this will come out
in your poetry
What you reveal
is what is in your heart

We must fight evil
(thoughts and deeds)
if we wish to follow Christ
for what we think, we will
act on and we will become

If you have evil thoughts
and desires, you must
block then out by
doing good and by
sacrifice

The world is in need
of this for the pendulent
has swung from
the center of things
and it is in harms way
for the great punishment
of GOD
who is merciful
but also just
