A Poem written; remembering a special woman once in my life, for whom now sits at the side of the one Almighty.
I cried today
The pain it did not wash away.
The memories, I don’t want to forget
Never, Not yet.
Your voice, your face,
Your eyes, their gaze
The smell of your perfume
I remember you always
When flowers are in bloom.
I remember you and forever will
Always with flowers on the window sill
I will remember you well
This I can tell.
I see you in my oldest daughter
And in your oldest son
I remember you in my arms
I remember it all that day.
It was when you said good-bye
And then went away.
I hope you’re happy there
And if I dare
I must say
I know you’re rid of the pain
But I want you back again.
