Christians are reluctant to admit there are examples of successful practitioners of witchcraft in the Bible. It's like refusing to admit that evil rulers didn't successfully feed Christians to the lions.

I want to begin by saying I am a born-again Christian, active church member for over 20 years and occasional teacher for the men's ministry, Sunday school, and Bible study. Time and time again, in my study of the Bible, I have come across examples of witches, psychics and other practitioners of divination. Perhaps, I should say other successful practitioners, with the keyword being successful because most Christians are reluctant to admit that these individuals, dabbling in the dark powers of the underworld, are often able to to see beyond the natural realm. The general response from both preachers and teachers is: "Stay away from that stuff." And they are right.

Yet, there is a hunger to know more about this real-life phenomenon.

The Bible is my primary source for truth. So when the Bible says that people can be processed by demons, I believe it. The man in the graveyard was possessed by Leison, thousands of the demons, who Jesus eventually sent into the swine. In fact, the entire New Testament is filled with examples of both Jesus and the disciples casting out demons who had taken over "host" individuals to either torment or use to carry out their bidding.

In my novel, Orange FingerTips, I have moved this phenomenon into a modern-day Enron corporate environment, setting the stage for a high stakes battle between good and evil. I have also added a glimps into the fundamental works of angels (another perpetually high interest topic), how they crossed over as shown in the story of Jacob's latter and present themselves as ordinary people ... "usually humble servant's of this world". Finally, I have interwoven a backdrop of revenge, a spurned victim of downsizing with military background, determined to get even with the protagonist.
