This one comes straight out of the hand book of entitlements! You tell me who is and who is not entitled.

     "The Mexican government is studying the possibility of giving Mexican immigrants GPS locators that could be used to call the U.S. Border Patrol for help." (One of many local newspapers January 5, 2007)
      I see we are off to a rip roaring new year. Wow! There is nothing like pouring salt on open wounds is there?
     "The United States government has yet to sign off on the project, which is still in the planning stages." Excuse me? Am I really reading what I am reading? Please say it is not so.
     "The locators would be handed out for free to migrants who are thinking of crossing the border and would give U.S. Border Patrol agents the location of those in trouble.
      Mexico's Monterrey Tech University is developing the locators, which would be cheap and easy to carry and activate. They might be ready by March, 2007."
      Okay, let me guess. Is this how we plan to protect our borders? Is the Border Patrol on the Mexican government payroll or is this just one more thing we U.S.  taxpayers must anti up for.
     "Supporters argue that the initiative could save hundreds of immigrants' lives."
      I would just love to know who these supporters of this potential program are, wouldn't you?
