What's the worry about Time?

It is odd that Creationists insist that the Earth is only 10,000 years old.

Odd. That is how old civilization is.

Which makes sense. Because religion is only worried about civilized humans.

And it also shows their regard for anything that is not human.

God came to town 10,000 years ago. That's what religion would say, and humans got smart.

Civilization and the Creation through Time. Time is what we worry about. The fear of some deadline. Like we're unnatural or something. And we need the authority on 'natural,' God, eventhough religion tells us not to be, unless we use birth control.

And yet civilization looks at Nature as being chaos, out of (human) control. Well, God created civilization out of the chaos of Nature, creating its own madness. So is God 'natural' or civilized? Now that's deep water.

Aren't all these swirling connections dawning on anyone?

Well we finally got things under control using money, business and science, and Nature is cooperating by reflecting who we are. We made it out of God's Creation, Nature. Now we're safe in our latest version of civilization. We have been battling our natural urges from Nature that God made, trying to be unnatural as God said, no matter how unnatural it was.

So we made our own Creation out of another Creation. Aren't we cool. Order out of chaos, just like God did 10000 years ago. We just improved on it. It seems we started out in Nature, which was the Garden, and for some reason people wanted to go back to. Glad everyone knows you can't improve on the artificial environment we have here. No one's looking for the Garden, when we have so much merchandise.

No one is really arguing with Creationists. The fundies just don't realize what they're saying.
