How can we use the power of intention to help us attain our goals?

The Power Of Intention I

by, TB Wright

The steps leading to the effortless use of powerful processes are sequential, and often seem complex because there can be many of them. But just like taking the first step up a long staircase, each subsequent step is as easy to take as the preceding one. It's only when we try to view whole staircase at one time, that our minds make this journey seem hard. But we don't need to do that. We only need to see the next step, no matter how far up we desire to go. Using our intention effectively is no different. It's easy to do, but being that it's a complex process, it only seems hard. What diminishes the difficulties we can have with the use of intention, is to break it down into separate steps, and then simply take them one at a time.
The first step is to understand exactly what intention is, by first dispelling what we have misidentified it as being. It is not our thoughts, our feelings, or our goals. While each of these three things can tie up our energy, they are not the energy of intention. Thoughts have words, feelings and emotions feel a certain way, and goals can be clearly stated. Each of the three have form. Intention, does not. Intention is formless energy, that we direct after gathering it up. It's like water falling from the sky, completely without form. What form water takes only happens after it gathers up on the ground into lakes, rivers, or oceans. What form our intentions take only happen after we have gathered them up and pooled them into the vessel defined by our goals.
The steps leading up to the successful use of intentions are gone over in the thirty week web-based seminar series The One Penny Millionaire!™ It takes thirty weeks to hone our ability to use the energy of intention because we've been for so long trained in ways that do not empower us to succeed. The power of time is enormous when we let it work for us. It's like adding a compounded interest in our lives. In this case, the importance of staying inspired over the course of whatever time it takes to complete any project you intend to complete, cannot be understated. We all know how to get inspired, but leading participants to a knowing of how to stay inspired over time, has them access a skill that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. It's the 'rest of our lives' that I'm interested in!
There is a way we can take that leads to the successful use of our intentions, and that way is practice. With each process presented, the steps needed to be taken so that that process can be played with, fine tuned, and practiced over time, are given. No matter how metaphysical or mysterious something is, there are always steps available that will lead us to its successful use. Think about electricity in that way. While it is a completely mysterious force, that we only believe we understand, because we so thoroughly know the steps leading to its successful use, the fact remains that it will always be something we can explain, but never really know. What is it, really? No one really knows! But that fact never stopped us from learning the steps leading to its successful use. Our intentions are of the same energetic nature as electricity. We may never know exactly what they are, nor do we have to. Because we can certainly know how to effectively gather that energy up, and to move mountains with it!
