This longing
unshattered by
knowing,
wistful embraces in the mind
no substitute for skin,
so many useless wisdoms
crunch like gravel
beneath the feet of weighty desires,
ungainly passions at best,
staring at the clock like a gawking adolescent
waiting for the time to grow up,
waiting for your touch that never left,
more unshattered longing
living here,
unembraced by the knowing,
and all the wisdom in the world
that cannot one time hug,
or serve to savor a single kiss.
This is a book of free verse poetry that addresses the seven main tests in life and offers some sensible solutions to passing those tests with minimal discomfort.
Be safe,
