Our lives are so full of deception; we constantly move through life, not considering that within the next second, we could be dead.

There is a symbolized Doomsday Clock, maintained by a group of atomic scientists. Each year they move the hand closer or further away from midnight, which is a prediction of how close we are to total annihilation when the clock strikes midnight.

The latest clock adjustment was made in January 2025, when the hand moved to 89 seconds to midnight, the closest it has ever been. It is adjusted according to how unchecked science and technology have become, directed primarily by the chance of nuclear warfare and less by climate change, bioterrorism, and recently included artificial intelligence.

Four buttons to midnight are a metaphor, claiming there are four countries who can obliterate our world with a push of a button. The US, Russia, China, and North Korea all have the nuclear capability to obliterate our world within four minutes by pressing their launch buttons.

‘Who cares? Where’s my remote? I need to find out what is happening in Hollywood!’ We are all endlessly deceived by outside forces into not seeing our demise could be within the next second.

I am sure there are many people who believe the US would never push the nuclear button except in defense. Don’t forget it was the US that was the first country to drop atomic bombs on two cities, obliterating hundreds of thousands of innocent Japanese people who perhaps didn’t even know their country was at war.

The Apostle Peter from the Bible prophesied a coming universal destruction around 2000 years ago, and it is certainly apparent we are seconds away from it becoming true .

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” 2 Peter 3:10

I think some people would want to know when the end of all things is coming or know when we are going to die. What would we do? Would we become a philanthropist and give away all our assets? Would we make amends with our enemies? Apologize to our parents that they weren’t the stupidest people ever and tell them we love them? Maybe rob a bank and spend money like a child in a candy store. What would we do?

Unfortunately, when people throughout history found out their demise might be near, they turned greedy for themselves, not caring about the next person. We just need to look back at the Covid fiasco, where people coveted all the toilet paper they could get from stores, even when there wasn’t a shortage.

When people fear for their livelihood, they riot in the streets, burning down the places where people live or shop for survival. We self-destruct.

I can’t tell you when you will die or when our universe and earth will dissolve into nothing, but both will certainly happen in the blink of an eye. We could be driving down the road and, in the next instant, find ourselves standing in front of Jesus.

I CAN tell you why we are here, where we are going after we die, or what happens when our physical realm disappears for eternity.

What we don’t realize is we are all evil, no exceptions; otherwise, we wouldn’t be here. We are all temporarily imprisoned convicts serving time on this earth.

" I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house." Isaiah 42:6,7

However, there is great news! We can all be pardoned from our sentence for eternity! But we need to get it before we die or the physical realm dissolves.

It describes a unique structure of two narratives, not a physical one, but a spiritual rendition of God restoring His earth and the Lord God making our temporary earth and universe outside of His spiritual kingdom.
