There are many groups and associations throughout the world that are defined by the word anonymous. But, there is a common thread that links them into unity. It is that thread of experience that weaves and binds them into the fabric of their movement. Such a move is peaking for the Body of Christ as a humongous wave, a tsunami, which will change us as well as propel us into the presence of God unlike any time in history.

          The radicals are defined as those individuals who are marked by their departure from the usual or traditional way of doing things. They advocate extreme change in the existing views and practices. The mark of the radical is the symbol that is used to identify that trait or characteristic of those who are chosen in a particular season, specifically for a particular purpose. There are many and you know who you are. You are the ones who had the uncommon experience of being in a place with a sea of Believers, holding hands in the link, standing outside the majestic doors, of which there is no description or comparison here on earth. As you stood, you saw on of the old elders carrying a large book, beginning to enter the majestic doors. The doors began to open, the light that came out was blinding, but also moving. As the light went over and through you, there was a mark of distinction that was placed that not only indicates His ownership, but the call to be used at the appointed time. You are a no name of unknown origin, but there is something very different about you. Many do not understand, but as long as you hear and obey His voice, you can be used as a pivotal point in the restoration of the state of affairs of the Body of Christ.

          There are many radical anonymous people in the Bible that God used. He is still using them today. God is so awesome and amazing that He chooses a person and prepares them for just for one particular moment that could change the course of events. In I Kings 13, a radical anonymous out of the tribe of Judah with no name show ups to cry out the word of the Lord against King Jeroboam, who has descended into idolatry after experiencing the manifestation of the word of God in his life. God not only equips this young man with His word, but also manifests His power suddenly through signs and wonders. Upon reading this chapter, you will find that this radical anonymous was used by God to predict the current as well as future events concerning King Jeroboam. Because of fear, King Jeroboam allowed the enemy to use him retaliate toward the man of God, and in an instant his hand was dried up. “Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”(Psalm 105:15). There is lesson to be learned from that which we quote all the time; but fail to observe in many aspects.

          King Jeroboam, whom God had chosen and set as a ruler over the kingdom of Israel, had lost his relationship with God. He had to ask a no name radical to inquire to God for his restoration. How did it come to this point? How many in the Body of Christ are rapidly approaching this point of decline? It is not about your status or position, but your relationship with the Sovereign One.

          History accounts Jeroboam ascent to the throne based on the disobedience of Solomon, from whom he should have learned the consequences of such actions. Solomon did not keep the covenant that God made with him by his public display of idolatry, and Jeroboam did the same. We know the historical account of Solomon and the influence of his wives from various kingdoms, who turned his heart from God. (I Kings 11).

As we see the day approaching, we need to hold fast to that which God has given. Deception is all around and in many forms. Influences that would separate us from Him must be eradicated. “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.’ (Romans 8:38-39).

God spoke to Solomon twice about his actions and finally told him that He would take the whole kingdom from his son, but only one tribe would remain, for His servant, David’s sake. The Lord raised up an adversary, Jeroboam, against Solomon. God sent the prophet Ahijah, the Shilonite, to tell Jeroboam that God would give him the ten tribes of the kingdom, save only one. “And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee: But he shall have one tribe for my servant David's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel:)” (I Kings 11:31-32). Ahijah informed Jeroboam the reason that God was making this change, idolatry.

Jeroboam did not remember the word of the Lord. He was given a great opportunity to have success in his rule, if he had served the lord as instructed. The prophet informed him of the consequences of disobedience. Jeroboam let fear grip his heart and caused him to fall into deception to initiate the return to idolatry. (I Kings 12:25-32).

A no name man of God from the tribe of Judah came out nowhere to deliver the word of the Lord to Jeroboam. He gave a prophecy of an event that came to pass immediately as well as on for the future. It was the immediate manifestation of the word in action as Jeroboam’s hand withered, which got his attention. At this point, the king inquires for the favor of God from the man no one knows. What and who will God use to manifest His power to get our attention? The radicals will come with the word of God in their mouths that will produce miraculous events and many of the old guard in the Body of Christ will not be in a place to receive it or to even seek God for themselves to understand this move.

Salvation will come to many who are radical in their spirit and are not even aware of the call of God that is taking place. It will happen at the divine moment of the scheduled appointment where the eternal meets time. Some may be face down in a drug-induced stupor, with no place to go but up. At this point in their lives, the mind is no longer in control as the mouth moves to call upon the Name of Jesus from the depth of the heart. Another may be sitting on the couch watching a football game on television, pondering the stages of past mistakes in life. All of a sudden in a flash, every episode of their life story passes through the mind opening a window to a moment of clarity to receive understand that through it all, Jesus was there. The knowledge that God truly loves them overwhelms and turns the heart to one of a humble servant desiring to serve at all costs, because of the price that was paid by the blood of Jesus. Many will not have the joy of the families witnessing their transformation, as the walk towards the altar, after the Pastor asks, “will there be one?”

The radicals anonymous are the remnant, a piece of the original, possessing all of the attributes of the Master as one made in His image. As you read the rest of I Kings 13, the radical fell into disobedience by not following God’s instructions, because he trusted in the man of God who was in the region, who lied and said that he heard from God. If the prophet who was in the region as hearing and listening to God, there would have been no need to send the no name radical from the tribe of Judah. The lie, the trust, cost the radical his life. A word of caution to the radical. When God gives an assignment, follow the instructions precisely as given with no deviation, no matter what. The price to pay for disobedience is beyond what you think, because God has entrusted you with that which cannot be bought with things in the natural.

“And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.” (John 10 4-5 KJV).

" When he has brought his own sheep outside, he walks on before them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. They will never on any account follow a stranger, but will run away from him because they do not know the voice of strangers or recognize their call." (AMP).
