Words are the most powerful creative instruments of communication on the planet. Atmospheres are charged and changed because of words that are spoken. Nations rise and fall because of words. Ware are started and ended because of words.

            There is power in the word that is released from the mouth, positive or negative. Words have an intended purpose. For every idle word that is spoken there is an accounting. Idle words are words without a positive purpose.

            The first chapter of Genesis is filled with words, ‘And God said, And God Called, And God saw.’ Everything we see and experience was first created with these words. The purpose and the result is to see that which was spoken manifested in the natural realm.

            The origination point of words is just as important as the word spoken. It is the thought or idea that is formed in the mind and the heart. The mind must be continually renewed and that is through the process of reading and meditating the Word of God. “And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:2 KJV). If Believers think like everyone else in the world system then we will speak like the world system. We are called to be set apart, distinguished and peculiar. These are the identifying characteristics that the world system would label a Believer because we do not imitate the culture or adapt to what is custom. We are called to be instruments to prove the authenticity of the experience and encounter with Him.

            The heart releases what is stored within and the overflow in the form of words. It is good to be silent so that you can listen to what is being spoken around you and also to pay attention to what is coming out of your mouth. What will you be speaking after listening to what is revealed in the atmosphere?

            I speak Eternal is when you speak the Word of God, which is eternal into time. “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand forever.” (Isaiah 40:8 KJV). Eternal overrides the system of time. Everything in the world system knows the voice of the Eternal, who is the Creator. Believers are made in His image and are the earthen vessels where the Holy Spirit resides. So as Sons of God who are led by God and filled with the Word of God, we have the ability to speak like our Father.

            His Word is like a hammer which breaks up the system and causes havoc in the spirit. We must learn the purpose for our words so that we can see the effect and manifestation intended of that which is spoken. The enemy uses the mouth to speak words that trap you into his systems. We are designed to dominate not partake.

This article is the first article that I have written in almost a year. The timing was awesome because the title was given to me on Pentecost Sunday of this year. I was physically in a location that was not conducive for me to pray in my usual manner. After two days, I needed to get back into position. On the third day, which was Pentecost Sunday, the unction came to shift to my usual position of prayer, which is on my face. Immediately I was flooded with His presence and heard the title of this article and more. Looking back, I wonder if He was waiting to see how long it would take me to be uncomfortable where I was.

The enemy is aware of the power that you possess as a Believer. Your mouth is the creative instrument in the earth that he wants to use. He wants you to speak the existing system so that there will be a continuance instead of the anti to cause a divine disruption. You decide and you decree something unimaginable and unprecedented. “You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you.” (Job 22:28a AMPC). Make a decision to be determined to use your mouth for Kingdom voice activation. Give voice to the power of the Word in the earth.

The lips of the righteous feed and guide many,
But fools who reject God and His wisdom die for lack of understanding.

(Proverbs 10:21 AMP).

 The mouths of the righteous, those harmonious with God bring forth skillful and godly Wisdom, but the perverse tongue shall be cut down like a barren and rotten tree.

The speech of a good person clears the air;
    the words of the wicked pollute it.
