There's a five letter word and it's a must
If you want to get by you have to trust.;-)

There are so many times in our lives that we have to place our trust in one person or another.It starts with our parents, then the rest of the family, mates, friends, acquaintances, clergy professinal people, teachers, nurses, doctors
dentists,lawyers, pharmacists, electricians, drivers
plumbers,mail carriers,etc. In some way or other we
find that we must take people, all along the chain
of life, at their word.

There may be many instances when our trust is betrayed.
Yet, we must not let that stop us from believing others
are worthy of it, or we couldn't live a normal life. Every
day of our lives we are called upon to trust something or
someone.

When we go to the doctor and he gives his diagnoses,
we are at his mercy to trust it. When he gives
us medication we accept it from him, then we trust the
pharmacist to fill it properly, and the pharmacuetical
industry that made the drug. All this trust as a matter
of routine. Yet, we know how often these drugs, and
medical procedures etc. fail.

When it comes to God people find all kinds of excuses why
they can't trust Him. It always mystifies me that intelligent
people who will believe in almost anything, refuse to believe in the One who deserves it most.

We have had a horrific disaster. It makes people take a second look at things, they had previously refused to give any attention. Here are a few Scriptures for us to ponder, which should help those who have a hard time believing enough, to trust..

Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and leannot on your own understanding.v.6. In all your ways acknowledge
Him, and He shall direct your paths."

How great is that? All we have to do is TRUST Him and He will care enough for us to watch over all we do.

Isaiah 26:4 " TRUST in the Lord forever, for in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength."

Need strength? Now we know where to get it;-).

1 Timothy4:10 " For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach,
because we trust in the Living God, who is the Saviour of all men ,especially those who believe."

Yes, we work and suffer and get humiliated because we believe and trust Him. At least we know our reward is everlasting life in heaven.We don't get that from the world when our trust is betrayed. We just get the shaft period!

Nahum 1:7 " The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble: and He
knows those who TRUST in Him.

He knows who trusts in Him and is there for us to lean on in the day of trouble. That gives me great comfort, I hope it does you as well. Thank you God, Father, Son, and Holy spirit. Amen!
