How to write short on long subjects.

Flash fiction is about capturing a moment in time. So, keep these things in mind. Keep the number of your main characters in your story to one, two or three. Keep adjectives and adverbs to a minimum. Eliminate every unnecessary word. Make sure something happens in the story (an insight, revelation, change in attitude, change in situation--something). And take care of the basics: proof read for spelling and grammatical errors. Writing flash fiction is not easy. Writing publishable flash fiction that an editor will want to publish is even more difficult. If I can get published you can get published, too.
