 Somehow I want to find a sense of order in my life. I have a number of things set before me to do. Some things are new projects. I have all my regular daily activities to do. Things like cleaning the house, organizing where I have things placed in my home. Lately it has been hectic for me because I don't have consistency as to where to look for different things. I think that having my life directed with some sort of consistency would be what God would want from me. Colossians 1:9 and 10 Here I see a prayer that God would fill me with with the knowledge of his will, and that I can live a life worthy of the Lord and please Him in every way. What I am trying to say is hard to put into words. Let me start with something simple. The foods in my cupboards are not organized. I mean----even my freezer and refrigerator do not have order about them. Having a small amount of space requires some extra thought as to how to place items in structured order. You have probably never thought this could be an issue of concern, but it is for me. With the freezer I can put meats in one section, Frozen entrees and TV dinners in another, then pizzas and bag frozen items in another place. Then there is a spot for ice because I don't have an ice maker in my freezer. I go looking for canned items and I have cereals, baking items and condiments all cluttered together. Then I need to sort my paper items like paper plates and paper towels, foil, garbage bags and other things. It can be overwhelming. God is one that has order in all He does. Getting to my point is where I find how God has anyting to do with these things in my life. He has everything to do with it. As I have said he is a God of order! How in the world He put the whole universe in all of creation together; we know this required divine order. The following verse is where I call for the Lord to give me the divine wisdom that I need to have a life of order and consistency. James 1:5 'but if any of you lack wisdom, you should pray to God, who will give it to you; because God gives generously and graciously to all.' He knows all about me. Psalm 139:1-3 LORD, you have examined me and you know me. You know everything I do; from far away you understand all my thoughts. You see me, whether I am working or resting; you know all my actions. He knows me deep within and my true motives as to why I do what I do with my life. When I focus my eyes unto the Lord Jesus andand put less emphasis' and pleasures the world has to offer then there will be more harmony, order and peace in my life.
