Let God's Word be inside your spirit, Let it permeate you, saturate you and enfold you. Think of God hugging you.

Did you know that daily bible reading keeps you within range of God's voice? It is a wonderful feeling to know you are really hearing God's voice. God's word is active and living.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

When you read His Word, it is the same as Him sitting right next to you and talking to you. You can have a conversation every day with God. We need never push Him away from us by spending the majority of our time doing other things. Develop a habit of opening the bible every day. Ask Him to give you light to understand the meaning of what you read. Just what does the word precept mean? The meaning of precept is this; a command or principle intended especially as a general rule of action.

Psalm 119:4 Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.

Psalm 119:15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

Psalm 119:18 Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

Psalm 119 is a very long chapter. It has 176 verses and contains a wealth of information. It is a basis for truth, honesty and integrity. Some verses to read from psalm 119 are verses Psalm 119:29, 30, 99 and 100, 104 and 163.

Isaiah 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
