Do you have someone to trust in your life, or in your circle of friends? We need to have accountability to others. Let us look at *accountability* and it's importance.

*Accountability*
Do you have someone to trust in your life, or in your circle of friends? It is so good to have friends. I used to have a tee shirt with Snoopy and his bird friends all around him. The shirt had the caption on it 'You can never have too many friends'. Yes, it is good to have a lot of friends. It is important to have one or two friends that are more devoted to you. It's also important that they have similiar interests like you do. Just a few friends that can help you see your path more clearly in life. They need to be close enough to touch; to touch your heart and to touch your spirit. Sometimes small groups help too. We need to have accountability to others. We should never stay alone, all by ourselves all the time. This is a sure way to sink into depression and even deep despair. Developing friendships helps to fulfill the scripture about not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together. Hebrews 10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much more, as ye see the day approaching. There are times in people's lives where they have not found a particular church to attend. A church or fellowship of people where they feel that they belong, that they have a sense of harmony in. We all have times where we don't 'fit in'. At least in our own eyes or to our own understanding this can be the case sometimes. We read in the book of Proverbs, not to lean to our own understanding. Proverbs 3:5,6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; lean not unto thine own unnderstanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. God will make it clear to you as to how to find those close friends to fellowship or hang with. They can help you to keep standing with the Lord in your walk today and each day ahead. Ecclesiastes 4:9,10. Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him that is alone when he fall; for he has not another to help him up.
