*Building up Hope*

What is hope? It is all those things that you cannot see out there. It is those things that you want to touch. It is dreams that you want to see come true . It is our hope to one day reach Heaven; that we will have a home, a mansion and an unbroken circle of relationships in eternity. It is also our hope to see God's purpose, God's will to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven. God is the one who gives us dreams and visions. It is God who puts hope into us. We read in Jeremiah 29:11 that hope is and expected end. Jeremiah 29:11 for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Other versions of the bible read 'to give you a future and a hope'. Hope is a gift from God and when you TRUST in JESUS as your personal savior, JESUS enables you to see a blessed hope. Ephesians 1:18. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. It is God's purpose that we see the blessed hope, the hope of our salvation. We hope to see Heaven some day, and we will because we will trust and obey. Here are some verses to read about trusting and obeying the Lord. Deuteronomy 30:20, Jeremiah 42:6. Read all of Psalm 146 and you will see the blessings that come from putting your hope in the Lord. Psalm 146:5 Happy is he that has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God. We can be sure that God's unchanging character is always there for us, helping us to SEE HIM. In great darkness and in His light we can always see hope. Nothing can put out God's great light. 1st John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.
