*I lean not to my own understanding*

Sometimes it is difficult to see the Lord God at work in our lives. We read in Proverbs 3:5. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. I ask myself, "Am I looking for Him in my daily activities?" Psalm 5:3. My voice shall thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.It helps me when I speak to God in the morning. Starting my day with my Father God's hand upon me gives me a feeling of satety and security. I know my Father God always wants the best for me. As I have grown in my relationship to the Lord, I have learned of a new love, a new acceptance in the beloved. Ephesians 1:6. To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he has made us accepted in the beloved. Although this is not new to some people in the body of Christ, it is new to me. The Word of God is living and it's life within my spirit is the reason for the joy that I have. Read Hebrews 4:12.When I spend time reading His word I am developing my relationship to Him. Getting to know God and developing an intimate relationship with Him is the essence of a truthful Christian life. Some of the trials we face in life can be devastating and destructive. We are in a spiritual war. Please read these verses; John 10:10 and Ephesians 6:12. Knowing the fact that our enemy is not the people we see every day enables me to love them and accept them as they are. As I have been accepted and loved by my Lord and Jesus put all power of the devil out of commission, so it is with all of my brothers and sisters. Let us not look at our circumstances and try to understand them with our own understanding. Let's ask God to give us His eyes of understanding, and that we have ears to hear clearly. May we have His hands to touch others and His feet to walk on Earth?
