*When we are weak, He is strong*

Some of the most frustrating feelings are the ones where we feel powerless. When we feel like we can't help ourselves. But the truth is that when we have come to the end of ourselves we are then made strong. Part of the Christian life is one that surrenders all of ourselves; we abandon ourselves to the care and keeping of God. When we have come to the understanding of our Father Gods unconditional love for us, we are then enabled to die to our old and selfish nature. Then we take up the loving, caring and compassionate nature of the Lord. That's what the meaning of taking up your cross and following Jesus means. People wonder what it means when someone says they are born again. John 3:3. If we could just understand that when we die to ourselves we are given new life, new strength, and made into a brand new person. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. God has given His children eyes to see the unseen. Realizing that we can do nothing without Christ in our lives is truly a gift. 1 Corinthians 15 tells us about the body having to die in order to be made alive. Verse 43 says it is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory, it is sown in weakness and it is raised in power. When we learn of His promises, our lives can be content no matter what the storms of life may bring. The times when I am the most weak are the times when He can show His power to us and we are made strong. Able to endure so much that we walk with a great Peace, one that passes all understanding. Philippians 4:7
