We read in Luke 8 of the account of Jesus when he was in the boat with His disciples. When he slept during the storm, they woke Him, He spoke to the wind and raging water and they ceased. He will bring calm to us too in our storm.

When everything is raging and out of control in our lives we can experience peace in spite of all of that. When we look to God, this peace can be found. Jesus is the author of peace. Luke 8:22-25. It is He who has the final say so on all stormy situations in our lives. When we spend time with Him and make ourselves aware of His characteristics and of His character we develop faith in Him and how He will help us get through these difficult seasons in our lives. Some say that having a relationship with Jesus is boring and dull. I say that it is nothing like that, far from that for sure. Our lives with Him are a story in the making, unique to each one of us. When I put my trust in the Lord, He gave me the crown of peace. This is something that every one of us can have; it just needs to be received. I take that gift of peace and share it with others. Hebrews 12:14a. Peace with all men. Peace is part of the armor that we can actively use on a daily basis. Ephesians 6:15. Your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Peace is also the fruit of Gods Spirit that Spirit dwells inside each of us. Galatians 5:22. We read in Luke 8 of the account of Jesus when he was in the boat with His disciples. When he slept during the storm, they woke Him, He spoke to the wing and raging water and they ceased. He will bring calm to us too in our storm.
