Is there a serial killer loose in Daytona Beach, Florida? Does he reside in Florida or could he reside in your state? What are the clues?

A serial killer who killed three women approxiamately two years ago is apparently back in Daytona Beach, Florida. Around 2005-2006 three females were found dead in the Daytona Beach area. The police knew then that a serial killer was on the loose as the dna was apparently the same. A check in the dna data banks haven't turned up the killer, so apparently he has never had his genetic dna deposited.  

Recently the police found another body, two years later! Same guy apparently took a long break from killing. Some law enforcement personnel believed the killer might be a local resident. They are beginning to described the killer with adjectives such as clean cut, quiet, etc. A couple of readers asked me, what would you do if you were the chief of police? 

Well, the police don't know anything about this killer. Sure he could be as they described but that's precisely the problem in my mind. It would be only a good guess. He could be anyone, period. He could be an out of town truck driver, a visiting salesman, a politician, a cop, or a taxi driver. They reported that he has apparently dumped the bodies in various desolated places. Folks, most all serial killers dump bodies in desolated areas.

My point... don't attempt to profile a serial killer accurately. Most of the profilers you see on television don't have an idea who kills, where they are, or really anything you or I don't know or can't guess. If they knew, they could solve all serial killers cases quickly and/or retire quite fast! A profiler is simply a fancy and legal term for a practicing guesser utilizing a little common logic (ouch, no offense against profilers).

Now, here are some things the police might consider. Real and tangible things that just might catch the killer!

1) Plant officers in certain locations to catch the offender, even if it takes months.

2) Next, staked out some of the desolated locations where bodies were last dumped. In many cases, serial killers have been proven to revisited the site of their last kill. This is how they relived their crime. The serial killer Ted Bundy said the same before he was exeucuted!

3)  Next, don't assume anything about this person. In other words consider a house painter as the killer as well as a cop. 

4) The police should consider filming all "Johns" or males frequenting the areas where these women are diasppearing from. Serial killers are known to hunt in well defined areas.

This killer chances of eluding law enforcers is pretty good from a standpoint of location. There are many areas that are within an hour's drive of Daytona Beach. He would have to be arrested for a felony at least once to get his DNA in the data bank.

Oh, another thing, don't think because this is happening in Daytona Beach, Florida that somehow you are safe. He could have just moved to your town to start his killing again.

As I've said, watch your backs, trust no one, and be alert!
