Good thing..........

Sometimes when my daughter would complain about this or that to her Nana, my Mom.
Mom would tell me about it later.

One day, I asked her why she didn't talk to me about these things.
She looked at me and said,
"But Daddy, when I'm with you, I don't think about the bad stuff."

It was a good thing she wasn't old enough to ask for a Porsche.

Yes I know exactly what you are saying with this. My little girl now 30 somthing with a little girl of her own was the same way from the time I divorced her mother. It sure makes one feel loved.
