Chemotherapy.

This is a place where people come with hope in their eyes.

Each and every time you go there is a person who, like you, is being pumped full of poison, you still talk about anything and everything in your whole lives to the stranger sitting right next to you, because every time you go there is always someone. Because here are no lies found for there is no need. No one has anything to hide anymore. Everyone is here for the same reason
This is a place where people come with hope in their eyes.

Life’s problems do not carry weight here. No matter who we are, or what we do anywhere else in your lives, in this place, nothing else matters. Whether you are a doctor, a lawyer, or Indian chief. This is a place where people come with hope in their eyes.

There is a place in your heart is where truth resides and it is the only thing on most people’s mind. And in that place of love for yourself and others. It is this place where you store all your memories the good, the bad, the regrets.
There is time to reflect with a loved one, or that stranger beside you being strong with and for you.
A loved one with hope in their eyes as well, never really knowing what’s going through your mind, they can only imagine, or the empathetic stranger.
I have seen little weakness here, only strength or in some cases what there is left of strength.
This is a place where people come with hope in their eyes.

WALT ...

Well stated, direct, to the point ... sometimes HOPE is all that is left ...
LOVE certainly helps ... FAITH can either increase, or dwindle ...
Only TIME will eventually out ...

Best Wishes ... Tom.

Yes, hope in the best that science and technology can provide to try to kill the insidious cell growth known as cancer. I certainly hope that you make it through it and that the cancer is killed, or as polite society wrongly calls it, in remission. There is no need for false pretense when your life is on the line. I have known people, an 11-year-old young man, in particular, who did not survive the treatment even though his father, a medical doctor, was closely monitoring the situation.
