What You Think About Is What You Create
According to Gary Zukav, the author of the # 1 New York Times Best Seller, 'The Seat of The Soul' and author of 'Soul Stories,' "Creating authentic power can be much like baking bread, you have to want to do it."
I believe that we have inner voices and inner feelings within our being that alarm us when things are not quite right; it is those same voices and feelings within, that let us know when things are at its best. I wrote a book recently called Protected, and in that book I shared many of my personal experiences of how God knocked me down to my knees in order to get my attention so that he could finally begin to mold me and shape me, like clay, into the person that God wanted me to be; in doing so, I came full circle and realized that many of the negative thoughts and words that I chose to carry around in my head and speak out of my mouth, were more damaging than any person or any circumstance that appeared my life. I realized, after many of my own failures and road blocks, that what you think about is what you create.
In referencing the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, many of us know that, according to John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Genesis 1:3, God said "Let there be light." When we think of the notion that God created so much with the spoken word, we begin to realize how important words are in respects to life itself. When I thought negative thoughts, many negative things began to unfold in my life and many negative people found their way into my life. When I thought positive thoughts and spoke only positive words, many positive things began to happen in my life and positive people began to surround me.
Creating authentic power, finding peace and happiness, sharing and wanting love begins within. Many of us are like cars. If we wash the car and shine its outside, we can see how pretty, clean and shinny it is, but if we were to lift the hood and look inside, the motor can be dirty and unclean. We must begin to clean ourselves within. We must learn to love ourselves within and find peace within, in order to bring happiness at our door.

Did You Know That Awareness Can Help You to Pay Attention to How Certain People Make You Feel
One day I walked into a store. I looked around and chose a few items and shortly afterwards I found myself standing in a long line. The cashier seemed pleasant to everyone, until it was my turn and suddenly, as if something else took over her senses, she became agitated and impatient with me. Feeling suddenly overwhelmed by her negative body language and thinking that I would hurry things along and be helpful to her, I aided in putting the items into the bag. To my surprise, I was rudely told that I was reaching for the items too quickly. I stood a distance away from her and suddenly looked stunned as everyone else did. What happened? What took place here? Suddenly I realized that the issue, whatever it was, was not mine but clearly hers? What had I missed?
When I think back at that particular time, I felt her resistance and negativity towards me, as soon as I approached the register. I felt it within the center of my being. In realizing that we are all spiritual beings housed in a body, I instantly became in touch with my feelings. I knew that there was something wrong. Some force overwhelmed this woman and suddenly I considered myself to be under attach. Had I reminded her of someone? It was at that time, that I realized that if I needed to go within and allow myself to come to the realization and understanding actually what I was feeling, especially in light of certain people around me. I needed to quiet myself and learn to become more in touch with whatever the emotion that my body was feeling. I can then, be aware of the intentions of others, and my own intentions in most circumstances.
One thing for sure, I didn't want to own whatever her feelings were towards me. I thought briefly of reporting her to her manager, but instead, I decided to let it go and put it out of my mind, replacing the event with some other positive thought, instead.

It is Our Words and Our Thoughts That Become Our Deeds
When I think back at that time when I stood in that particular person's line, I thought also about what had been on my mind at that particular time. Had there been some negative thoughts about her while I awaited my turn? Could I have thought of how unpleasant it was to have to stand on your feet all day, as a cashier or had I wondered how little money she must have been paid? Did I think that, maybe, she looked a bit tired and warn to me? I do remember recalling how unattractive her hair style was. Did I bring that negativity upon myself and into our existence, unintentionally? I'm not sure, I could have. Now, I think only positive thoughts, no matter what. Even in the midst of something terrible, I try to find greatness. People do as people think. Thoughts become words, whether they are spoken or unspoken and words become reality.
Gary Zukav, wrote in his book, 'Soul Stories', "When you choose your intentions according to what you want to create, that is responsible choice. When you intend to create harmony, cooperation, sharing and reverence for Life, your intentions and the intentions of your soul are the same. When that happens, you become authentically powerful."

Going within can help in creating awareness
Authentic power allows us to experience inner power that we never knew existed
We create good or bad in our lives according to what we think about
Everyone has the potential to bring peace, happiness and love into their lives
Scripture teaches us that Soul is that part of self that is immortal and that words are real and move about our lives in ways that we never dream of.
