Blowing smoke!

Don’t tell me banalities!

The world is going to pot,

To keep sane,

Some smoke every day now,

The government be rich by now,

If they made it legal, and taxed it,

It would save a lot of unpaid mortgages,

And have people more compliant and peaceful,

More generous in their attitude,

More Christian like, me thinks,

But that wouldn’t do, would it?

After all so much peace and good will,

The preachers would become unemployed,

No wonder they’re fighting it,

How selfish hm,

Just the cost of enforcement alone,

Probably could pay for all the healthcare,

And default mortgages,

Unemployment be no problem,

For who would want to work?

That in turn would leave enough work,

For those who just can’t leave it alone,

Say the super ambitious,

The bored,

The morally horn swaggled,

Them I would tax for the privilege,

To help pay for all us creative types,

Doesn’t take much to create paradise,

Just a little leaf,

And look at the greening of the realm,

The useful leftovers for fabric and rope etc,

For us artistic types to make sweaters,

And bandanas etc,

Why can’t these miserable politicians ever,

Think of an idea like that,

Boxed themselves in with all that brain,

No lucidity or expansive thinking,

Like they could have hm,

We could use the five fingered leaf

On the U N Flag \

A better peace symbol,

Even on our own,

It’s close enough with just a few modifications,

The peacekeepers and the peace corps could use it,

Give it to the guards and prisoners,

There be no riots, just brotherly love,

No stealing or murder,

Everyone be happy,

So much less consumption in the world,

Wouldn’t need to make all these things that pollute,

And would restart the greening of the planet,

I say cannabis sativa is our saviour,

Who is with me, lets start with Rufuz,

I gots a yes? Ed?,

Another yes,

Come on folks, every vote counts,

Let’s make it unanimous,

And up here,

We could all sing,

The cannabis leaf forever!
