Reg Park the champion bodybuilder and filmstar is seriously ill. Reg is a very close personal friend and a mentor figure unlike any other.
I have taken it upon myself to make the South African public aware of this by using all my contacts in the media.
With permission from the Park Family, we have already arranged for Radio 702 to interview Jon Jon Park.
The interview took place on 22 May at 8 30 am.
Jon Jon spoke of his father's condition and provided a glimmer of hope for adoring fans of Reg 'The Leg' Park.
Besides that, I wrote a front-page article on www.reporter.co.za paying homage to Reg, my friend and mentor.
It is my hope that the other newspapers that I have contacted will pursue a fitting tribute to a giant among men.
On Thursday 24 May at 9 10 am South African time, John Berks (South Africa's most popular DJ) will be broadcasting from Jerusalem on Ram FM a short message for Reg Park.
