What kind of democracy do we want to teach our children or promote throughout the world? Anyway the media are the ones which pick the winner.  The people have no place to express their opinion or to make any decision. The people do not have access to radio, television or any other way of conveying their messages.

Our Democratic Party is not the best example in the world.  When I asked a few Democratic friends to explain to me why they need the super delegates the response was: 
“Because the people do not understand politics, so the super delegates are the ones who express their will.  My response was:
“Why do we always say ‘in the name of the people?’” then I continued:
“Maybe we should change our constitution and instead of saying: ‘We the people’ we should say; ‘We the media and the super delegates’”.  He looked at me with a smile as if to say “we have no choice”.
But time will come when the people will have direct access to the people and will be able to directly express their opinion and thoughts. To that he interjected and said:
“But we have Obama! “ My answer was: “Obama who? The guy who is spreading empty promises and intellectual utopia. Like in old times, here we go again with the communist philosophy."

 I stopped the conversation by concluding that my friend was brainwashed too with empty promises, like those every politician gives. Then I chose my father’s proverb which says: “Keep the bad you have before you get the worse”.

Until then we have to cope with what we have now and do our best to choose the one we know.  We just hope that foreign influences will not take advantage of our weakness. Meanwhile we have to protect our society and our country with the means at our disposal.  Today the left wing of the Democratic Party and the media showed us that it is possible to use our system intelligently and to succeed in changing the course of the party and eventually the course of our history.
