Today, the superpowers=s space ships went to the moon and tomorrow they may explore another planet. But a fact remains: we'll discover the Moon or Mars without having discovered our own or our neighbors heart.
Children do not need boats or spaceships to explore their world, for theirs is not so remote. Each of us can explore their world but to do so, we must forget we are adults. It is not easy to become a child again but it is the only way to enter their pure world and it is easier than we believe. After all, there is no need for a passport, money, education or baggage. It is so simple: just think plainly without malice or intrigue. We must free ourselves from all the problems which have overburdened us for so long.
We must be true to ourselves and recall that in childhood roles are distributed without any sense of hierarchy. The main thing is to be in the game
Good advice, Emile. My philosophy is "Eat with the people, and get to know them", so I go to various cultural small restaurants in my town to not only eat the good food, but to talk with the people. I've made some fine acquaintances that way, as I'm "childishly" not bashful when it comes to talking and visiting...all within a mile or two of my home. Fortunately I'm in a college town (300 thousand pop.), which has many cultures.
