The most honest and the most appropriate comment about our president is the one which former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich made on NBC two years ago, likening the president's approach to the economy and unemployment to that of a "teenager with a credit card.

As CBS put it, “Gingrich issued the barb in response to Mr. Obama's comments criticizing Republicans for opposing a bill extending benefits for the unemployed. Gingrich said [at that time] the bill would do little for job creation and complained its $33 billion price tag would simply add to an already inflated deficit;”

If the huge billion dollar of stimulus couldn’t create jobs, how could a small number of $33 Billion help the economic situation? As Howard Dean, past chairman of the Democratic National Committee, and former Vermont Governor said on Fox News Sunday about Gingrich, a leading conservative Republican, that he has "a ton of ideas to move the country forward."

I believe that deep in his heart Howard Dean meant it, as he sees that our country is falling apart. At least what he said will remain on the record, be it for the Republican or the Democratic party.
Newt Gingrich is a brilliant man, but I’d rather see him as a top adviser of the future president. We need a man like him as not to lose the country we love and we know.

In reality Obama didn’t see his job to be that of a world statesman, responsible for the international problems, who can solve not only the national problems but the international ones as well.

Forget the other national problems; he couldn’t solve the most important problem - the economy -  despite the huge stimulus, which did not help a bid. Being president means for him giving speeches as a campaigner. Why did he sue Arizona in court, was it just because he wanted to buy time? By doing so, he hopes to attract the Hispanic immigrants, which will vote for the Democrats as he will consolidate his base for the second term.

During his campaign for the presidency he spoke about change but he never specified the kind of change he meant. Now we can see the kind of change we are stuck with.

In my view, Obama failed to see the extent of the problems challenging the United State, such as Iraq, Chiite and Sunni Muslims, China, North Korea, Russia, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and now the extended anti-American protests in so many countries.Obama does not understand America, or the European way of thinking. I wonder if he understands Christianity, Judaism, and even Islam, judging by what is going on in the world under his watch. After all, the United States is a Judeo-Christian country.

By counting mostly on the stimulus to solve the economical problem, Obama had to borrow  money from other countries. The president mortgaged our children’s and our grandchildren’s future. He lost the leverage the United States had before and has placed our country in a very dangerous economical and political situation. Our influence in the world is slipping away from our hands.

You can see what happened in the Muslim countries. Our president may be a good lawyer or a brilliant and persuasive orator and a charming man, but in my opinion he doesn’t grasp what that means to be the president of such a huge and powerful country, on which many nations are hinged upon.

The whip and the power of the law can make people run like animals but cannot force human beings to create. The creation can come only with private initiative. This administration will not understand that a government cannot create jobs. Only the free entrepreneurs and the free enterprise can create jobs and bring about prosperity in the United States. The private initiative is the one which made America the most powerful in the world. Socialist ideology is not for America, it belongs to the past.

It is frightening to see how Ahmadinejad is playing politics with us, when I read that China has invested $ 29 Billion in an oil and gas project in Iran and another 10 billion for large refineries, indirectly countering the US sanctions.

Lately, we saw how Obama has changed his mind, just to prove to the Muslim countries that he is their guy, who “throws Israel under the bus” (as per Mitt Romney) and who is not a friend of Israel. Now, just before the elections, Obama changed his mind again. It does not look serious to see another change of mind from our president within a short period of time. We should not forget that we are a Judeo-Christian nation and we consider Israel as a part of us. JerUSAlem. As I mentioned before in another article, does Obama understand the bible? By wanting to appease the Muslim nations he contributed to that Egypt became closer to Hamas, and Iran came closer to Syria and to Lebanon. Yes Obama brought changes in the world but not the change we expected.

Those who believe that Obama changed his policy could be surprised. Obama will never tell anyone what he is thinking. He is a smart and intelligent man and he keeps the direction of his goal for himself. Let’s pass the election and we will witness the naked truth. As children are taught in American schools the words  “Let’s pretend,” the honesty and the fairness that we, the old generation knew, do no longer exist in the new American culture. In my view the Obama administration is dishonest.

I advise the Democrats in general and particularly our fellow Jewish people to open their eyes if they don’t want to be blamed. We have to look first to our beloved country USA. We need the creation of jobs, not again with stimulus or on the backs of our children and grandchildren. Let’s be honest and pragmatic and not follow ideologies. If some leaders want to try ideological concepts they should try them in their own backyard.
