Yes, you won the election. Some are searching for the reason, others say you won with the help of President Clinton and  the media; others say, this is why you didn’t want to close the border with Mexico so more people would vote for you and help you succeed. This is maybe a plus today or a liability tomorrow. Let everyone say what they want.  For me, you won; it's a fact. The Republicans have lost; it's also a fact, as Mitt Romney has conceded. The United States do not need another revolution. The United States need a president who unifies our nation and looks forward. I know that the word “forward” has a different meaning, depending on who you ask. Our nation needs a president, who cares about all of us. If we need a new regime, let’s find a solution together. We need to stick to the constitution which made America the beautiful, the strongest country on earth.

 

 Yes, there are other ways to reach this goal, that's what the elections are for. But think what the aspirations of the entire nation are. We will have another split. We have to find a solution, which lets everyone feel home. I hope that we don’t have to follow the Europeans or the Russians, or the South Americans to teach the Americans their way of life. All these countries have made their experiences, they did not succeed. They had centuries of wars and now they are all in trouble and that's why they are all looking to America. Some are jealous;   some try to learn from us, and some became our friends and allies. These are also facts

 

If Obama feel that he is now the president of all Americans, let everyone feel it, let everyone believe in it, it is very important. We will discover a new and great potential in the American people, not only the Democrats or those who helped in this election, but many others, with experience. The last four years  saw a nation divided between those who are happy and those who are bitter because they know from the last four years of experience.  We still have 23 million without work. We still have the mountain of debt. I believe that America as an entire nation can do better. I believe that criticizing the rich, who can help our economy, is wrong. Everyone wants to make money, so what’s wrong? We should not keep a grudge for those who know how to create jobs and have a brain and can develop technologies for all.   I feel sorry for Romney and his family; they worked hard and spent their money. I am confident that Obama will not succeed, if he doesn’t do the same as President Bill Clinton did for his second therm.

 

When I was ten, the Germans conquered many countries, in Europe and in Nord Africa. I saw and I lived the war with its bad and with its good colors. The bad color was the atrocity between human beings and, the good colors were the humanity and the generosity of other human beings.

 

I saw many American and other allied wounded and dead soldiers. I saw the generosity of the American soldiers who gave everything they had to help the civilian population, which was deprived of everything you can imagine. I saw how life became wonderful after the war. I saw the friendship among the inhabitants of our town become real and honest.  We survived the fear of the bombs, the tanks, the artillery, the machine guns, the typhus and the homelessness.  After all, life became beautiful again, even without any food and water. I smelled for the first time what the beauty of live is, and the beauty of being able to eat bread with a glass of water. Our president was not even born at that time and because his parents are now departed, they could not share with him stories and experiences.

 

I know he wants to succeed. Let’s stop for a moment and think about everything we want him to accomplish and he should ask himself these questions:  Is this the reason why I am born in this world?

Is this the reason why I had to travel and to live in different countries and to receive various kinds of education? What are the lessons, the quality, and the knowledge he received from these continents, America, Africa, Asia, and from Christianity, from Islam, and maybe from Jewish friends?

 

Yes, he won the election, but many do still not accept him, as their president. He will be accepted, but not by insulting or humiliating or denigrating his opponent or other party. I saw many young people who told me stories that could only be the products of propaganda: “The fuel is cheaper now than before”, “there are now many more working people than before”,” there are less unemployed people than before”, “all this progress is due to Obama.”  I was wondering where they got this information.  At the moment, we are not united. A large part of our people is unhappy.
