Fiscal Cliff
Since the election is over, we have been hearing every single day that the most dangerous thing the Americans are facing is the “Fiscal Cliff”. The subject has preoccupied a large part, as not to say the entire population, and for the entire two month. No one could focus on any other problem, which engaged the country, the government or its secretaries. I would say, “every problem can be in vain, if it does not cause any pain.” Which means that we, the people, do not know anything of what is playing behind the scenes. Or, as President Bush one time said,
“You will never get the real news by reading the newspapers.” Since then, I started to believe in this rhetoric.
Now, in reference to Secretary of State Hilary Clinton and Benghazi, she could not testify to the Congress about the Benghazi matter, which bothers a good part of the population. In my view, this could also be a diversion from a bigger problem. If not, why was one part of the press mute? I started to say to myself, why the Secretary of State suddenly had to travel to Australia without any explanation to the people and without the White House saying anything, when normally they like to speak up, if this was an interesting subject?
Today, when I heard the news that the Secretary of State was hospitalized, my mind didn’t stop thinking - one time it’s a concussion, and now it’s a blood clot. Again, I didn’t want to listen anymore about Benghazi. Since my youth, my parents taught us to understand and think ourselves, without hearing an explanation, just by looking at the person. They insisted that no one needs to explain to us anything, but only with a blink of an eye we should understand what is playing behind the scenes or silently. The question of the Cliff is nothing else but a diversion. Let’s wait a few days and see what the news will bring us.
