We are in the sixth year with our president Obama and we still believe he is our honest leader. I wonder how long it takes for the Americans to realize what’s going on with our government leaders. It’s time to wake up. Those who still believe and are sleeping will maybe one day be held responsible for not alerting the innocent people. Ask yourself the question: “How come that our government becomes an ally of terrorists?” Not only do we become Hamas’s ally, but we also send them US$46 million. Since its inception, Israel has been a great, reliable, and intelligent ally, which is helping us in many aspects of our defense, through innovation and inventions. Obama is sending Kerry to try to negotiate a cease-fire?  Mr. President, no one of the Israelis wants to kill. They just want to live in peace. Who put enormous pressure on Israel to negotiate with what is maybe not a viable partner? And who did you send? Secretary of State Kerry! Since when has he proven to be a good negotiator?

The writer of these lines has his entire family in Israel, since they were made to leave their native Muslim land. Do we have to be scared for our lives like in WWII again? I suffered enough during my childhood, until the Americans came to our rescue. This is why, at a tender age of eleven I assisted them with the supply of fresh foods and helped them with dangerous actions. We the Jews lived in Arab lands for centuries, until we were all expelled, be it by force or with elegance depending on the country. Abdel Nasser kicked out all the Jews allowing them to take with them one suitcase and very little cash, leaving behind them all their wealth.

Are you telling me about the “Poor Palestinians”? Yes, the civilians are poor. Hamas used millions and millions of dollars to build tunnels instead of dwellings. And where did they put their entrance? In private homes, mosques, schools, hospitals and other public places, in order to be able to attack and kill Israelis. Their headquarters are located under a hotel and a hospital, three stories below the ground with electricity, technology and air conditioning. And who supplies them with the electric power and ironically with cement for building? Israel, of course. And you are telling me that we the Americans should support Hamas? Now I understand why Hamas gained the support of voters, by pointing to its achievements in building hospitals and schools for the population. What they did not tell them was that they were in fact building the tunnel and headquarters infrastructure underneath.

Some countries are saying that Israel is inhumane. They are more caring than any nation in the world and they go out of their way to prevent civilian casualties by inviting the population to take shelter. Did anybody warn the Jews in Europe and give them a chance to get to a safe place during the Nazi regime? But Hamas didn’t let the Palestinian people enjoy the Israeli advance warning about coming danger. Instead, Hamas obliged them to act as human shields to save the rockets. That is why there are so many Palestinians civilian casualties.

If my government shows compassion with and support for Hamas, it should first have had compassion with the poor Palestinian people who are held hostage by Hamas. Why did the US not gather intelligence about the real dire condition of the Palestinian people?

The US has shown concern for Israel but I doubt strongly that Obama even cares, even when he talks about the US support for Israel. In his Cairo speech he did not show any knowledge about the Jews. As Anne Bayefsky wrote in her article in the Jewish World Review, (http://www.JewishWorldReview.com), “Obama equated the Holocaust to Palestinian "dislocation." In his words: "The Jewish people were persecuted. …anti-Semitism …culminated in an unprecedented Holocaust…. Six million Jews were killed…. On the other hand, it is also undeniable that the Palestinian people — Muslims and Christians — have suffered in pursuit of a homeland." This parallelism amounts to the fictitious Arab narrative that the deliberate mass murder of six million Jews for the crime of being Jewish is analogous to a Jewish-driven violation of Palestinian rights. “

Obama is not loyal to his voter base that helped him win the elections. They will definitely re-think their loyalty come the next election, because, if Obama has two more years of governing the way he has done it until now, the US will be ruined. Wake Up America!  As for Mr. Kerry, stop what you are trying to do and come back home! Don’t waste our money.
