Israeli settlements in Judea and Samaria are not colonies. Jewish presence in the region has continued unabated for more than 3000 years. These Jewish communities in Arab-majority territory are just as there are Arab communities in Israel. Taken together, these locations represent only 5% of the territory of Judea and Samaria.

The UN itself has used the terms Judea and Samaria in the text of Resolution 181 in November 1947 to describe precisely, in part 2, the borders of the two states, Arab and Jewish, to be created by sharing Mandatory Palestine.

Media and the largest anti-Semitic producers of lies bludgeon people day in and day out with the word occupation - we end up believing that in reality Israel is occupying Judea and Samaria. But in historical and legal terms, all this media farce is a falsification of international law.

1- Judea and Samaria is the historic area of the Jewish nation. There has never been a state of Palestine in the region that was not Jewish.

2- When Israel regained control of the land in 1967, it has not only freed it from the illegal occupation of a belligerent nation, Jordan that had attacked, but had acted in accordance with Jewish national rights recognized by the British Mandate.

Stewardship of Israel in Judea and Samaria is legally defensible. Despite the treacherous attempts by the UN to make Israel's ctions illegal by voting ridiculous resolutions. In fact, Israel has legitimate reasons according to the established legal principles to support the annexation of Judea and Samaria and the expansion of so-called "colonies".

3- The region was annexed by Jordan after the 1948 war, but conquered back by Israel in 1967 during the Six Day War. Before the presence of the self-proclaimed Palestinian people that did not exist before 1967, the area was under Jordanian rule, after the British and Ottoman rule. Never a "Palestinian State" has existed on this earth. NEVER.

Under international law, the legal vacuum that existed during the nineteen years following the Hashemite aggression (Jordan) was filled by Israel, the besieged country.

This is what the international law says:
"A country that attacks another to seize its territory without any valid reason, can never claim sovereignty over a territory acquired as a result of an assault."

In addition, the principle of self-defense which Israel has right to claim is established conventionally by article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations.

4- Judea and Samaria are the heart of Israel. The central mountain, with Jerusalem in the center, reminds us of the heritage of the Jewish people.

This is where Abraham walked with his son Isaac.
It was here that Jacob built his tent and it is here that the ancestors of the Jewish people chased the peoples of Canaan under Joshua son of Nun.

In the mountains of Judea and Samaria there are dozens of sacred sites that are of great historical significance to the Jewish people.

For nineteen years, Jordan illegally occupied these territories and Jewish sites were desecrated, the right of access to places of worship denied to Jews.

Who protested? Where was the outrage?

For more than 40 years these territories are again under Israeli sovereignty, and there is no reason why they should not formally be annexed by Israel.

The ancient origin of these lands is demonstrated by the overwhelming evidence of the Jewish holy sites, such as the Tomb of Joseph in Nablus, the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron and Ramat Rachel near Bethlehem.

Judea and Samaria are the birthplace of the Judges, of the Jewish kings and of the prophets.

There is no Palestine in the Bible, and many Christians have been hijacked of their convictions by Arab propaganda, and have come to believe that Judea and Samaria were Palestinian.

5. On 29 November 1947, the Arabs refused the application of Resolution 181 of the United Nations that stated the partition of Palestine into two states, one Arab and one Jewish.

This refusal has terminated the legal basis of resolution 181 of the United Nations, which in any case, had no force of law, as it was passed by the General Assembly of the United Nations and not by the Security Council.

From this situation onwards we are dealing with a country that no longer has any legal sovereign from the moment England returned its mandate to the United Nations, which voted a resolution rejected by the Arabs. There is a legal vacuum in sovereignty over the territories of Judea and Samaria.

6. In addition to the historical ties of Judea and Samaria with the Jewish people, Israel's claim to these lands is consistent with the Convention of San Remo 1920.

The participation of 51 members of the League of Nations, including Britain, the United States, Canada and Europe, confirmed the Balfour agreement giving all the land west of the Jordan to the Jewish people. The importance of this convention is such - it is an international treaty – that no UN resolution can supplant or change it!

When the media and the pro Palestinian associations bore us at every opportunity that Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem are occupied territories and that its residents are settlers or intruders, it proves a lack of knowledge from their part about the convention in San Remo, and a vicious desire to delegitimize Israel. It would be more honest to say that they are disputed territories. But honesty is not always on the media program.

7- The alternative of Israeli sovereignty would be the transfer of Judea and Samaria to Palestinian or Arabic sovereignty.

Such a plan would be a strategic disaster in terms of security.

In such a situation, Israel would become a perpetual hostage to Palestinian terrorism.

Palestinian sovereignty would also be a threat to Jordan - which also opposes it firmly without any media ever mentioning it, and to moderate Arab countries. It would quickly become the backyard of Hamas and Islamic fundamentalism.

To ensure its own survival and security, Israel needs safe and defensible borders. A country with a width of only 15km is impossible to defend. This is the strategic reason why Jews should stay at home and grow in Judea and Samaria.

8. Jordan is a Palestinian Arab state, located on more than 80% of Mandatory Palestine supposed to be the Jewish homeland. It is, moreover, largely populated by Palestinian Arabs.

Since the Palestine Mandate was supposed to be the birthplace of the Jewish national home, we must remember that the partition was done in 1923 at the expense of the Jewish population, Transjordan being ethnically pure of any Jewish presence.

A Palestinian state has been established in Palestine on the land lost by the Ottoman Empire: Jordan, which should have been called the Palestinian Kingdom of Jordan. Nothing justifies the creation of a second or a third Palestinian state, if you count the Gaza Strip, while there are no Palestinian people, if not by ideological fabrication aimed at destroying Israel and creating a 23rd Arab state in place of Israel.

9- The dismantling of refugee camps as part of the replacement process, would reduce the Arab population in Judea and Samaria as well as poverty and density in the cities.

The Arab population who would continue to live within the new borders of the state of Israel, would be entitled to the rights of citizens offered by the state of Israel, but would be of Jordanian-Palestinian nationality, running political rights in Aman.

10- Since the Six Day War of 1967, the United Nations, the media and politicians constantly proclaim that Israel illegally occupies the "West Bank", a territory they have earned during the War of 1948 and held until 1967. However, international law clearly states that what is gained in defending against external aggression can legitimately be considered war booty. The name West Bank appeared after 1948 and seeks to "erase" the Jewish and historical name of the region. This is revisionism.

Resolution 242 of the Security Council does not require Israel to surrender Judea and Samaria, though it is often invoked by Islamic dictatorships and pro-Palestinian groups to demand that Israel withdraw and accept borders based on the 1949 armistice lines. In addition, the "Palestinian people" is not mentioned in the resolution 242 which was signed between Jordan and Israel: they did not yet exist.

Several Anglo-Saxon diplomats (Arthur Goldberg and Eugene Rostow) protagonists of the drafting of this resolution, said that Israel was not required to evacuate the occupied territories.

Resolution 242 explicitly recognizes Israel was attacked by Jordan, Egypt and Syria in 1967, and calls on the parties to the conflict to negotiate a "just and lasting peace based on secure and recognized borders."

- The Treaty of San Remo clearly states that Israel has a legitimate right to own the land for its population within the limits established by this Convention.

Israel, with Judea and Samaria included was the land of the Jews since time immemorial. Judea means land of the Jews, and this is why the media employ the term West Bank, which only served for 19 years and recalls the Jordanian invasion and occupation.

Never in the history of mankind, has another, non-Jewish independent state been established on this territory. Jewish Diaspora, which began after their defeat by the Romans in the year 70, did not result in the departure of all Jews.

Jews have lived in the Jordan Valley for tens of centuries until the Arab invaders have chased them away in 1948, when the provinces of Judea and Samaria were occupied by the Hashemite Kingdom of Transjordan, which abbreviated its name to Jordan in 1950.

Ideological enemies of Israel want to erase it as a nation. They simply deny the Jewish state's right to exist and live in peace, dignity and freedom.

European countries have understood the deception of those who now call themselves Palestinians.

As always, Israel can only rely on itself to find a solution that makes sense legally, historically and morally, which provides security and continuity of a Jewish democratic state.
