It's funny that a president who in my view has failed in his task as leader of a huge country tries to reduce an ally who is a people that has suffered for centuries, by pettiness. It is certain that the casualties, who fell in Gaza and in Israel, are the results of the policy of the United States.

Knowing the Arabs, they do not react spontaneously, if they do not feel that someone is with them. When Kerry was assigned the task of making peace between Israelis and Palestinians, the Arabs realized that the US is with them. The deaths on Israel's side and on the side of the Arabs of Gaza were preventable, if it was not for the insistence of our administration.

Already in his speech in Cairo, Obama has distorted history and insulted the Jewish people by comparing the displacement of Palestinians with the Holocaust. It is even more surprising that American commentators have flattered his speech, omitting his misrepresentations of huge proportion.

It is disheartening that a president of a great nation, who is not up to par with his task, still wants to impose his will on a small country, and what’s more, on the Jewish people, wanting to give "rights" to so-called Palestinians whereas to date, they have not proven they had any right on Jewish territories. It is inconceivable that we do not see the difference between a nation that has existed for millennia and a people that gathered there not even a century ago, coming from all the surrounding countries.

Even if Netanyahu will not succeed in the next elections, the real core of the Jewish people is even harder. The Jewish people will defend themselves. Yet over 70% of American Jews voted for our president and several of his entourage who are Jewish helped him to be president.

Some people believe that new elections in Israel will give them an advantage and will try to take action against Netanyahu. All these actions will serve for nothing. Even if Netanyahu will not rise again to power, there will be others who will take his place. It is possible that the elections of March 17, 2015 will buy time for Netanyahu and will dampen Abbas’s eagerness to file a complaint with the UN. I believe that the US would put its veto against Abbas, hoping that the winner would not be Netanyahu, but someone from the left. This same thinking could also convince Abbas not to act before the elections in Israel.

Let us not forget that the intention of breaking Netanyahu shows the incompetence of this Administration. Our leader has not managed to change the Arab world in his own way.    Through his tactics, I believe that he is indeed in the process of unknowingly strengthening the position of Netanyahu. The proof is that Netanyahu with his qualities was able to become friends with the largest Arab countries such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Jordan because he won their respect.
