Mr. President, be happy that you became president of the United States of America! Please, do not bother the Jews, especially Mr. Netanyahu. He has only one small country to manage, you have 50. Are you jealous of one small state? Do you want that a tiny state give away a substantial part of itself to people who do not deserve it? Be humble. Don’t betray those who helped you get to power, especially not the Jews. I lived through WWII; you do not know what war is like.

Don’t you see that Netanyahu is about to enlighten you about situations you are maybe not fully aware of? Although you are in charge of 50 states, I can guarantee you that you would not be able to govern a small state like Israel.

I understand that your mother was Christian and your father was Muslim and you grew up in Indonesia, a Muslim country.

The Jews are intelligent people, and if you think that they have not done anything for the United States, you are wrong. During WWII they have substantially contributed to the US victory. Even I had the privilege, as a child, to support the US troops and help Captain Thomas Kalman from Pennsylvania provide fresh foods, in my native Tunisia. I lost hundreds of family members during WWII.

You were lucky to study at top-rated universities and become a professor. Someone must have sponsored your studies. I had to study at night, after hard work during the day, in order to sustain myself and my family. I joined the army at age 17 and became an officer.

I came to the United States 43 years ago and created jobs for thousands of people. No one gave me a penny. I contributed to the US more than you can imagine. Alas the people who witnessed my accomplishments are no longer among us, such as NY Mayor Beame, NY Mayor Koch, Senator Edward Kennedy, and other distinguished personalities. Nobody ever granted me anything.

 I learned from my father’s wisdom, who taught me to make one hundred friends a day and not one single enemy during a year. Chose what you want to do. Mr. President, in this life we have to be generous and love everyone.

Mr. Netanyahu risked his life to help free Sabena airplane (flight 571) from the hands of Palestinian hijackers. And his brother lost his life in Entebe while overseeing the rescue mission for the passengers of the hijacked Air France plane. And you want Netanyahu not to risk his life to save Israel??? By saving Israel he also saves the Palestinians from their own stupidity. All the Arab states expelled the Jews – over 800,000 people. They left behind all their wealth, billions of dollars. Israel did not expel the Palestinians.

 The one who is writing these lines was in the same army as Netanyahu and has a lot of family members in Israel. I do not know Mr. Netanyahu personally.

You want to give Iran the power they never had before? The writer was a close friend of the late Iranian Prime Minister Amir Abbas Hoveyda, who was hung by the Mullahs, and whose family still lives in Paris. These were the predecessors of the same Mullahs you want to cut a deal with. They are criminals. Prime Minister Amir Abbas Hoveyda helped me at that time save Tunisia from being taken over by Khadafy, by insisting that Tunisian Prime  minister Nouira, who was his guest, speedily return to his country and prevent it from signing the proposed agreement with Libya. 

 Take my humble advice, Mr. Obama. I am 83 years old. Leave the Israelis in peace and let them live, like we live here in the United States. Be generous wit
