This morning was a day for reflection. Yesterday there was a tree planting and plague dedication to my daughter's soul mate that passed away last year. The citizens in the Barry Square Neighborhood, where Matthew patrolled and gave generously to community service there, honored him on what would have been his 36th birthday. It was a very bittersweet day for my daughter and I. We went to the dedication ceremony. I am missing him so, and I know that he was there with us in spirit. I could feel his energy the whole time.

He was a beautiful soul, and a very giving humanitarian!
Happy Birthday Matthew, rest in peace!
