An article about my late uncle and his wife.

Looking back through all these years, i've realised something about love.It works in the most wondrous ways.For example, an uncle of mine passed away about 4 days ago.He left the most amazing wife.Now she's staying alone in the house.She has been sad and melancholy after his death.
You see, their marriage was not based on love, it was an arranged marriage.He was a widower at the age of 55 and she was a divorcee at the age of 35.Their age gap was 20 years.They had nothing in common.
He was not the most good looking person and not the wealthiest either.Their marriage had its ups and downs.But throughout the marriage she remained true to him despite other third party interferences.
What was wonderful about their marriage was they had nothing in common and sometimes they couldn't even afford a decent meal.Their marriage survived for nearly 20 years.
I asked her, what made you stick by him despite the differences,she said "when you're in a marriage, no matter what it is, you have to make it work".I asked again" do you love him?"
She said again "you have to make it work" and smiled.
