Do you feel as though life has dealt you a short hand? You know, as though you were cheated out of the game before it really started?
Wow! Do I know the feeling.
A couple of years ago, I asked God the same thing, "God, why is my deck so short? He answered, " Because, I dealt the longer hand."
This is just like God, He always have a since of humor just when you need a good reason to keep complaining. I thought that my life was centered around, babies, marriage, and difficulties. Until one morning God spoke to me and said, You can keep surfacing or you can go deeper. I wanted the deeper. I was caught in between life and death, and that day I chose life.
"Misery always bring a shortage." Nothing pretty, and nothing common, "just plain old simple misery."
Life is about adjustment. Whatever we set the temperature to, it doesn't have to stay there. We always have the power to change it.
Once we learn ourselves, then we will know how to talk back to ourselves in a positive way. The bible says, "Misery loves company". So stop entertaining it.
When I was in the hospital years ago, and I was going through surgery after surgery, and dealing with an autistic child at the same time, and one with severe asthma, I just knew for sure that God had dealt me the wrong hand. But as I began to make confessions, and speak the word of truth, I came to realize that, "Through Christ we can do all things."
So as you get ready to pull up to the table of life, ask God for his hands first, before you start the next game.
