Ramblings of remembrances of a few of many pets that have made me smile....

Dogs, cats, birds and fish - all crazy wonderful adventures that filled my life with love and lots of laughter!
I was hard at work one day and I get a call from my Mom who asked 'How do I use your camera?'I had a 35mm camera that my Dad gave me - It seems our Blue Cream Persian Precious the Cat jumped on my Dad napping and took a snooze on his chest...I told Mom how to use the camera (point and click) and
2 photos turned out to be classics -
1 both cat and man are sound asleep and the other is a cat with 1 eye open not thrilled to be disturbed by her's and Dad's naps!
We inherited a Mynah Bird and a Moluccan Cockatoo - My Mom's family always had parrots and the like, so they were a welcome addition to our home - each brought crazy personalities- Clara the Cockatoo was the Alpha female - and Joe, the Mynah, enjoyed being second fiddle - and the cat completely ignored them!
Clara would sing, and chat in a sweet voice in Cockatoo and she'd tell jokes only she could understand then start laughing - heeheehee and we'd all join in - She loved being cuddled and even graced us with an egg that I promptly named Eggbert -
Joseph the Mynah was hilarious - He had a wonderful vocabulary that would put children to shame - Mynahs love bells and mirrors, so he had his cage decorated with them and regularly played with them -
They lived full lives where they were spoiled rotten and had as much fun with us as we did with them...
They are gone now - with my Dad in Summerland, or Heaven, or whatever you call it -
Pets are love and we have been blessed with lots of love - if you have read this and remembered your beloved pet, you too know what love a pet can give.
