It is wonderful!

Peregrine Rustam is a Social Studies teacher in a middle school - year 2006. He is 4'8" tall, but a giant of a man. Not only is he a great caring teacher, he is an agent for the good guys in 2306 Earth, only the timeline is called Universe X.

Rustam has been training as an agent with HAMIL-E, who introduces him to the art of time travel - Rustam's assignment is to retrieve a time travel device in the basement of the middle school - On his way to the job, he comes across several of his students - young people who are not accepted by the mainstream of the class - but are brilliant - and hold Rustam in esteem...The bad guys attack! And Rustam must choose between completing his mission, or saving the kids to fight another day. He opts for his principles.

The group goes back to the future and there they find what kind of world we have created...And it isn't pretty.

The good group headed by a female president against an emperor, the bad guy who talks like Yoda, and Hamil-E, Rustam, and the kids have to make their way through this chaos. Flying time machines, mechanical marvels, and technology enough to make any sci-fi fan go into orbit. It is exciting, fun, poignant, and you become part of the battle between good and bad.

And start to understand exactly what the Earth and its people of that future truly are will make you stop and think.

Beautifully written, exciting - although this says it's for Tweens is like saying Harry Potter is just for Tweens. No - folks who love sci-fi will have a ball with this one.
