At that rate it will probably go beyond its scheduled sale date and be fed to prisoners in a Canadian prison. They are blaming it on the lack of truck drivers so there is no one to drive beef from Manitoba or Saskatchewan to Costco in Toronto. Certainly shouldn't be held up by all those container ships offshore that are getting unloaded because of lack of drivers of unloading equipment or trucks to take the containers.
So many hard-working people while taking off for the pandemic found that they do better without going back to those mind killing and body killing jobs like driving truck.
My partner is still buying me top-of-the-line pork and steak. But I eat such small portions it only costs me less than five dollars a meal. And I never eat out anymore and rarely eat takeout because the price of take-out is soaring. We are making fajitas, pizza and pho at home that tastes much better, is healthier, and costs far less. Beats inflation all to heck!
